Katherine Ascalon started writing franchise-crossing fanfiction at a young age, receiving Honorable Mention for a story in a L. Ron Hubbard’s SF&F “Writers & Illustrators of the Future” writers’ contest. Having earned a BA in Creative Writing at Young Harris College in Georgia. She now writes SF&F stories and is working on her second book to follow her debut novel The Red Days. When she’s not writing, she’s working customer support, making jewelry, playing video games, or working on new stories.
